What is the proudest moment of your time at The Malvern School?

Wow, to narrow this down to one is tough. I am so proud to be part of this team. I would say my proudest single moment would be as a teacher working with a little boy in Preschool through some social emotional needs, helping him join in the group, make friends and seeing the pride in his face as he shared what he had learned with his friends.

What do you like most about our program or what do you think sets us apart?

So many things set us apart and make The Malvern School the best for children, families and staff! To narrow it down, I would say that the program is excellent in part due to its ability to customize the learning for individual children and groups of children based on their developmental needs and interests. We are not boxed in by one idea or one philosophy and have the ability to take the latest research in early childhood education into account as we plan each day’s adventures.

What do you enjoy in your free time?

I love to travel, cook, garden and spend time with my family!

Any unique or fun facts about yourself?

If I had not been a teacher, I would have been a marine biologist.

What is your favorite children’s book?

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day by Judith Viorst
