Meet Our Directors

Kayla Moyer, Director of Education

Kayla Moyer is the Director of Education at The Malvern School of Valley Forge. Kayla joined The Malvern School team in 2022 with more than 20 years of experience in early childhood education. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and History from Albright College. She started her career in the classroom as a Toddler Teacher and advanced her career to administrative management.

One of Kayla’s proudest moments of her career was the return to school during the Pandemic. She was proud to return to school to resume the vital role that teachers and school communities have with children. Despite the uncertainty and confusion during that time, it was reassuring that her connections with the children remained constant and that children and families alike felt the safe, loving, and educational environment in the school setting.

During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family—taking day trips, camping and traveling. She also loves the quiet times with her little ones just reading a book, snuggling or taking a nap. As a young child, Kayla always wanted to be a Teacher. Her favorite children’s book is “A Series of Unfortunate Events” by Lemony Snicket.
