Leading preschool and child care center earns fourth accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children

Reflecting its longstanding commitment to high-quality early learning, The Malvern School of Frazer has again been accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the world’s largest organization working on behalf of young children. Less than 10 percent of all child care centers, preschools and kindergartens nationally achieve this recognition, which has become a widely recognized sign of high-quality early childhood education. The Malvern School of Frazer has been accredited consistently since 2006. “Being recognized as one of the top early childhood education programs in the U.S. for more than 15 years is a huge source of pride for our team and our Malvern School families,” says Amy Woodward, Director of Education at The Malvern School of Frazer. “We always put the children first, ensure our teachers have the support they need to enrich the lives of our young friends and have a school community that feels like family. This honor is a testament to that and, most importantly, our staff’s dedication to educating and caring for our children on a daily basis.” To earn NAEYC Accreditation, The Malvern School of Frazer went through a rigorous evaluation process that included a thorough examination of hundreds of criteria that align with NAEYC’s 10 research-based program standards. The Malvern School of Frazer received high marks across the board – including perfect scores in nearly half the standards – which include relationships; curriculum; teaching; assessment of child progress; health; staff competencies, preparation and support; families; community relationships; physical environment; and leadership and management. “NAEYC-Accredited programs have committed to a process that takes time, energy and dedication to complete,” states Alissa Mwenelupembe, NAEYC’s Senior Director of Early Learning Program Accreditation. “The Malvern School of Frazer has demonstrated their commitment to young children and their families.” NAEYC-Accredited programs are always prepared for unannounced quality-assurance visits during their accreditation term, which lasts for five years. The Malvern School of Frazer is currently looking for outstanding teachers to join its team. For more information, visit malvernschool.com/careers.
