For Early Childhood Education

The Malvern School of Frazer

Our Frazer preschool is conveniently located right on Lancaster Avenue (Business 30) in the heart of town. At The Malvern School of Frazer, we are particularly proud of our developmentally appropriate, NAEYC accredited program, as well as our qualified teaching staff who ensure that your child is receiving the most nurturing educational program possible. We are also proud of the consistent excellence that has earned us multiple years of Platinum Performance recognition. Our early childhood education programs for children ages 6 weeks through 8 years old offer much more than traditional Frazer daycare and childcare options. We look forward to helping your child prepare for the future, and we encourage you to schedule a tour of our Frazer preschool!

Meet Our Directors

Sara Abate, Executive Director

Sara Abate has been the Executive Director at the Malvern School of Frazer since March of 2015. She has been working in childcare since 2007 as a Kindergarten and Pre-K teacher. She has also held positions as Education Director and Executive Director at various childcare facilities throughout Philadelphia and the Montgomery/Chester County area. Sara received her degree in Early and Elementary Education at Neumann University in 2009. She loves working at The Malvern School because of the staff’s dedication to the education and care of all of our children on a daily basis. Working with the families and children and helping them to grow and develop is Sara’s favorite thing about her job! Sara also enjoys playing softball and going to the theater.

Amy Woodward, Director of Education

Amy Woodward has worked for The Malvern School for three years as a teacher and in 2014 was promoted to the Director of Education. Amy has her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Penn State University in education. The thing Amy likes most about working with The Malvern School is their continued dedication to upholding the highest standards in the field of Early Childhood Education. Amy dives right into training new and veteran staff in the evolving world of Early Childhood Education. In Amy’s spare time she enjoys spending time with her newborn Adam and her family. She loves taking her son for walks and playing with him on the floor.

Natasha Dickinson, Assistant Director

Natasha Dickinson is the Assistant Director at The Malvern School of Frazer. Natasha joined The Malvern School team in 2022 with more than eight years of experience in early childhood education. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from West Chester University. Prior to joining the team, she was a preschool and elementary school teacher.

One of Natasha’s proudest moments of her career was working hard—starting as an Aide and eventually promoted to Assistant Director. Natasha believes that The Malvern School Program is above all others because of the foundation that a teacher created the program that meets the needs of each child.

During her free time, she enjoys baking and cooking. As a child, Natasha always wanted to be a teacher. Fun Fact! She has six siblings! Her favorite children’s book is “Where the Wild Things Are” by Maurice Sendak.
