The Malvern School of Upper Gwynedd

The Malvern School’s preschool in Upper Gwynedd is conveniently located across from Station Square Apartments, just down the street from the Pennbrook train station. Our qualified teachers and assistants have been part of the Malvern family for many years. Our innovative programs for children aged 6 weeks through 8 years old offer much more than traditional Upper Gwynedd daycare options. Our focus is to create an environment that allows children to learn and experience the world using all of their senses. We look forward to helping your child prepare for the future, and we encourage you to schedule a tour of our Upper Gwynedd preschool!

Meet Our Directors

Rahisha Wright, Executive Director

Rahisha Wright is the Executive Director at The Malvern School of Upper Gwynedd. Rahisha joined The Malvern School team in 2022 with more than 20 years of experience in early childhood education and has a Bachelor’s Degree in ECE and a Master’s in Divinity. Prior to joining The Malvern School, she was a Director of a preschool in Red Hill, Pa and an Office Manager.

Rahisha’s proudest moments of her career is always seeing a child and families many years after preschool and seeing the impact she made on their early childhood education. Rahisha believes that The Malvern School is very intentional in providing a high-quality program for young learners which is equally important to her as an educator and a parent.

During her free time, she enjoys shopping, date nights with her husband and spending time with their three children. Fun Fact! She can double-dutch jump rope and hula hoop – really well! And guess what? She is always up for a challenge! As a child, she always wanted to be a doctor until the realization that she would have to give needles to children. Then, she wanted to be a teacher. Her favorite children’s book is “You Are Special” by Max Lucado.
