The Malvern School of Oaks

The Malvern School’s preschool in Oaks is conveniently located off the Oaks exit of Highway 422 and just outside Phoenixville. We have been serving our community since 2010, and our enrollment has consistently grown since we opened our doors. Our quality of early childhood education and child care is shown through the continuous recommendations of our families to their friends and neighbors. Our staff is passionate about educating children, and our innovative programs for children aged 6 weeks through 8 years old offer much more than traditional Oaks daycare options. We look forward to helping your child prepare for the future, and we encourage you to schedule a tour of our Oaks preschool!

Meet Our Directors

Allison Presner, Director of Education

Allison Presner is the Director of Education at The Malvern School of Oaks. She joined the team in 2016 as an Associate Director and before that she was a second grade teacher, a kindergarten enrichment teacher and a summer day camp director. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Gwynedd Mercy College. As an educator, Allison finds the most gratifying part of her job is to see a child accomplish a goal. She also enjoys working with her teachers to develop new and innovative curriculum, planning special days for the kids and family-focused events that provide children fun, educational experiences.

During her free time, Allison enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is also a former college basketball player. As a young child, Allison always wanted to be a teacher and her favorite subject in school was art. Her favorite children’s book is “A Bad Case of Stripes” by David Shannon.
