Ashley Bengough, Executive Director

Ashley Bengough is the Executive Director at The Malvern School of Lionville. Ashely holds an Associate Degree in Elementary Education, Bachelor in Business Administration, and is working on her Master’s in Business. She started her career in the classroom at The Malvern School at the Royersford location. She has more than a decade of experience in early childhood education.

During her free time, she enjoys running, spending time with family on their boat, and going to the beach. Fun fact! Ashley is a volunteer firefighter! As a young child, she always wanted to be a teacher and her favorite children’s book is “Lil Army Soldier” by RP Kids.

Karla Schultz, Director of Education

Karla Schultz is the Director of Education at The Malvern School of Lionville. Karla has more than 20 years of experience in early childhood education with 15 years of those years at The Malvern School. Prior to being promoted to Associate Director in 2023 and then to Director of Education in 2024, Karla spent her days in our Infant room as the Lead Teacher.

One of Karla’s proudest moments was being the first recipient of the Teacher of the Year award in 2015.
