For Early Childhood Education

The Malvern School of King of Prussia

The Malvern School’s preschool in King of Prussia is conveniently located at the intersection of Henderson and South Gulph Roads, and we have been serving the King of Prussia area since 2004. We are particularly proud of the dedication and diverse teaching styles of our classroom teams. Watching the children grow from Infants to Kindergarten-ready students is a joy, and their success is a true testament to the high level of programming at our preschool. Our early childhood education programs offer much more than traditional King of Prussia daycare and childcare programs. We look forward to helping your child prepare for the future, and we encourage you to schedule a tour of our King of Prussia preschool!

What Parents are saying:

The teachers are extremely loving and the School has such a different feel. It is definitely more of a school feel than those other daycares out there.

—Tara S., King of Prussia

Meet Our Directors

Leslie Fuller, Acting Senior Executive Director

Leslie Fuller is Acting Senior Executive Director at The Malvern School of King of Prussia. With 25 years of experience in early childhood education, Leslie has spent more than 17 of those years at The Malvern School. She holds a dual bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education and is certified to teach through 6th grade in Pennsylvania and through 4th grade in Delaware.

Leslie’s proudest career moment is being named Executive Director of the Year three times while at our Glen Mills school location. Leslie is personally fond of The Malvern School program and all three of her children attended and graduated. She knows that the curriculum, the care, the safety measures that are provided are proven to be the best for the children in our care.

In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family. Growing up, her favorite book was “Are You My Mother.” Now, as a mother, her favorite book is “Love You Forever” by Robert Munsch.

Desiree Shapiro, Director of Education

Desiree Shapiro is the Director of Education at The Malvern School of King of Prussia. After graduating from Holy Family University, Desiree kick-started her career in early childhood education at The Malvern School. Desiree began as a Lead Teacher and with time took on different leadership roles such as Health and Safety Coordinator, Curriculum Coordinator, and Assistant Director. After years of dedication to The Malvern School program, Director of Education was a natural next-step for Desiree as she proved to be a leader among the school.

The proudest moments of Desiree’s career happen not only when she watches a child learn and grow, but when she is able to watch their families grow as well. Desiree loves how much The Malvern School values their teachers by hiring educated professionals. She also enjoys all the special days and visitors (we can’t blame her!)

In her free time, Desiree enjoys reading and cooking, spending time with her family, and binging a good Netflix show! When she was younger, Desiree wanted to grow up to be a teacher and her favorite subjects were public speaking and art. Her favorite children’s book is “The Giving Tree” by Shel Silverstein.

Tracy Anderson, Associate Director

Tracy Anderson is the Associate Director at The Malvern School of King of Prussia. Tracy holds a degree in Early Childhood Education from Ashworth University in Norcross, GA, and has more than 20 years of experience in early childhood education. Tracy has taught infants through PreK, and previously held various positions spanning two decades-- from Team Ambassador, Health & Safety Coordinator to NAEYC District Mentor.

Tracy’s proudest moment of her professional career was leading a school team through the NAEYC accreditation process. At the time, her school was recognized in the district with the highest NAEYC score and was used as a mentor school for others seeking accreditation. She finds The Malvern School’s curriculum to be truly focused on the children with an individualized approach that is flexible to meet the developmental goals of the children in each classroom during any given time.

During her free time, she enjoys watching HGTV and cooking shows. Fun fact about Tracy: She enjoys reading poetry and she collects picture frames. Tracy’s favorite children’s book is “Goodnight Moon” by Margaret Wise Brown.
