Meet Our Directors

Angela Ludwig, Executive Director

Angela Ludwig, Executive Director at The Malvern School of Blue Bell, previously held the role of Executive Director at the Oaks location before transitioning to Blue Bell where she has been with the school since it’s opening in 2016. Angela joined The Malvern School team in 2013 with 15 years of experience and a passion for early childhood education. She has held various roles throughout her career, from Assistant Teacher to Assistant Director and beyond! Angela will soon hold a Master’s in Early Childhood Education along with a Bachelor’s degree in Childcare Management- making her the perfect fit for Executive Director.

Angela’s proudest moment(s) of her professional career was being named Executive Director of the Year both in 2015 and 2019! She loves that each Malvern School has two Directors that each have a specific focus, allowing them to lead their team based on their strengths and expertise. She also loves the opportunity to participate in philanthropy events with the school.

Once upon a time, Angela was on a champion color guard team; spinning flags, sabres, and rifles with the best of them! Present day, Angela is a huge Dave Matthews Band fan and attends their concerts whenever she has a chance. She is also an active reader and loves to go to Disney with her family. Her favorite children’s book is “The Monster at the End of This Book” by Jon Stone.

Stephanie Bennis, Director of Education

Stephanie Bennis is the Director of Education at The Malvern School of Blue Bell. She joined the team at Malvern in 2008 and has more than 13 years of early childhood education experience. She started her Malvern career at the Newtown Square location and joined Blue Bell shortly after the new school opened in 2016. Stephanie has held several Lead Teacher positions and Coordinator positions before being promoted to Director of Education in 2017. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education.

Stephanie’s proudest moment in her education career was being promoted to Director of Education. She set this goal many years ago after joining The Malvern School and has dedicated her career advancement goals to a leadership position. She is particularly fond of the curriculum program at Malvern because it allows the teachers to be creative. She also appreciates process art and The Malvern School’s approach to teaching art to the young children.

During her free time, Stephanie enjoys baking – in fact she has small business of cakes, cupcakes and cakepops! She also spends time with her family and her daughter. As a young child, Stephanie always wanted to be a teacher and her favorite children’s book is “The Kissing Hand” by Audrey Penn.

Chelsea Woloshin, Assistant Director

Chelsea Woloshin is the Assistant Director at The Malvern School of Blue Bell and joins the team with more than 10 years of experience in early childhood education. Before joining The Malvern School, Chelsea was a Pre-Kindergarten teacher for a Head Start program in South Philadelphia and also served as an Assistant Director. She holds a Bachelor degree in education from Towson University.

Chelsea is thrilled to be a part of The Malvern School team because of the passion of all teachers and directors to create the best learning environment for the students and parents. During her free time, she enjoys reading, watching movies and going out to dinner in the city with her husband, family and friends. Her and her husband also enjoy travel and took a three week honeymoon to travel around Asia. Her favorite children’s book is “The Giving Tree” by Shel Silverstein.
