Partnering with parents is an important aspect of our educational model – one that’s enabled by open, frequent communication.
In addition to face-to-face conversations between parents, teachers and directors that happen every day, and more formal progress reports, we know parents value timely updates about what’s going on at school that they can access easily at work, at home or on the go.
To deliver this, we’re proud to partner with Tadpoles, an electronic communication system that enables our teachers and directors to securely share with parents:
- Daily Profiles, including class lessons and activities, as well as nap and snack/lunch notes
- Notes on each individual child’s progress
- Learning links with ideas for activities to practice with children at home
- Informational updates
- Reminders and announcements
- Photos of fun and learning
These updates are delivered via email, offering the benefits of easy sharing with close family and friends.
For added convenience, Tadpoles also offers a free app for parents (available for download on the App Store and Google Play), complete with push notifications that alert you when new information is sent through the system so updates are always on your radar. In addition to the latest updates, on the app you can access a library of all of your child’s daily reports and photos for easy reference as well.
