The Malvern School of Marlboro Welcomes Spring

As spring has finally arrived, The Malvern School of Marlboro celebrated with an Open House for all of our current families and community to come and participate in a day of fun activities planned by all the teachers. The children enjoyed painting their own birdhouses and planting their own flowers to take home. All the families enjoyed spending time with each other and being able to explore the different classrooms in the school.

At the end of March, the students enjoyed a fun visit from a few chefs from a local school. In the spirit of celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday, the students were able to come up and make their own ‘Cat in the Hat’ snack with bananas and strawberries. The children all enjoyed being able to be their own chef and creatively make their own snacks!

As the weather continues to get warmer and April is in full swing, The Malvern School of Marlboro celebrated The Week of the Young Child. Each day during the week of April 13th, we celebrated our young children in different ways! In particular, the students really enjoyed making their own milkshakes! It was a great and fun way to appreciate all of our young children, while also previewing some of the fun things we will do during our summer camp this year! On Family Friday, the families where able to come in and help their child participate in making a class book with their family picture and decorating it any way they wanted to. The Week of the Young Child is a wonderful time during the year where we are able to celebrate our greatest gifts… our children!
