The Malvern School of Erial Has Had a Busy Month of July!
The Malvern School of Erial has had a busy month of July! With our summer camp in full swing, we are busy exploring “The Great Outdoors”. We began the month exploring “Natures Wonders” with special visits from Mad Science along with The Bug Lady! We transitioned into “Summertime Sports” and learned all about Wimbledon along with The Baseball Hall of Fame located in Cooperstown, NY! We will jump right from July to August with our theme “Dive in, the Water’s Warm” and have our own beach party! Watch for upcoming events in August to include trips to parks, visits from snakes and trips to see our furry friends!
The Malvern School of Erial also recently held our annual Alex’s Lemonade Stand Event to benefit childhood cancer. We hosted many events this year including an art auction, family nights at Friendly’s, Nifty Fifty’s and Chik-Fil-A. We also held a family night at the Riversharks game! Our school also hosts a basket auction with basket items donated by our awesome families with all proceeds going towards Alex’s! This year we held a silent auction of a football autographed by former Philadelphia Eagle, Brian Westbrook! We also had many local businesses make contributions including SJ Water Ice & Pretzel, Philly Pretzel, Not Just Pizza, Rite Aid, Texas Roadhouse, Applebees, Maria’s Pizza. This year we are grateful to have again raised over $2000 for such a worthy cause!
