Make It, Take It Day 2020

Every year, The Malvern School hosts a special Make It, Take It Day full of winter crafting fun for our young friends, and this year was no exception. Students of all ages – across all of our schools – had the opportunity to dig into seasonal crafts and create their own unique works of art to bring home to their families.

Since family members weren’t able to join us in school due to our current health and wellness protocols, here’s a behind-the-scenes look at masterpieces in the making at our schools in Montgomeryville, Marlboro, Royersford, Glen Mills, West Norriton, Frazer and Upper Gwynedd.

The Malvern School of Montgomeryville 

From cooking up snowman dough to making special snowmen handprint poems and more, snowmen took center stage at Make It, Take It Day in Montgomeryville.

The Malvern School of Marlboro 

Our friends in Marlboro pieced together picture perfect holiday frames. Let it snow!

The Malvern School of Royersford 

Creativity was the name of the game in Royersford, where younger friends put their own spin on building snowmen and older friends created homemade 3D snow globes with their own photos inside. How cool!

The Malvern School of Glen Mills 

Look at that focus! Our friends in Glen Mills got down to business painting, stamping, cutting and gluing to create picture frames, gingerbread men and other winter goodies.

The Malvern School of West Norriton 

See fine motor skill development at its finest as our friends in West Norriton patiently strung together festive winter bells.

The Malvern School of Frazer 

Painting is more fun with friends – just ask our students in Frazer, who decorated snowflakes with big smiles on their faces!

The Malvern School of Upper Gwynedd 

Maker, dot marker, paint – our friends in Upper Gwynedd used all types of art media as they got into the snowflake decorating fun!
