Construction and preparations are underway for the opening of the 27th Malvern School location
Construction and preparations are in full swing in Westtown, PA at the future home of the 27th Malvern School in the region. The Malvern School of Westtown is set to open its big red doors this spring to bring the best of early childhood education to the West Chester community. With the brand-new school comes customized curriculum and enriching learning experiences for children ages six weeks through eight years – along with plenty of fun!
“The combination of our degreed teachers, outstanding curriculum, and engaging environment gives students at The Malvern School the best learning experience possible,” says Christle Seal, Director of Educational Programs at The Malvern School. “Our innovative and individualized program has raised the bar in early childhood education, and we can’t wait to bring it to the Westtown community.”
Conveniently located on the corner of East Pleasant Road and Wilmington Pike/202, diagonally across the street from Stetson Middle School and right down the street from Sarah Starkweather Elementary School, the site of the school is well on its way. Since breaking ground on the 11,000-square-foot, two-story building in the fall 2019 and working on the exterior, crews now have all classrooms framed out and are in the process of installing electric and wiring. The interior build-out will continue, as well as exterior enhancements, including stonework, landscaping and the installation of three outdoor play structures for infants, toddlers and preschoolers that promote gross motor and cognitive development.
