Hitting the Road to Explore

This summer our friends and teachers have been hitting the road as we bring back field trips to our summer camp program. We’re fortunate to have so many places close by where our campers can explore, experience new things, exercise and expand their thinking!

Check out some of the field trip adventures below from our friends in Upper Gwynedd, Westtown and Horsham!

Spring Valley Park and Peace Valley Nature Center
Our Upper Gwynedd campers have been learning that there are endless opportunities to explore in nature! At Spring Valley Park, they went on a nature walk, made nature collages and did leaf rubbings. Then, at Peace Valley Nature Center, they went on a hike and examined bugs in a pond with a microscope!

Rossi’s Golf Center
It was mini golf galore for our Junior Campers from Westtown at Rossi’s Golf Center. Our friends had a blast practicing their putts and tackling the 18-hole course together!

Highland Orchards
Our Westtown campers also headed out to Highland Orchards to learn about life on the farm. Picking blueberries, feeding the animals and taking a tractor ride made it a fun and memorable day!

Everybody’s Playground
Our campers from The Malvern School of Horsham ventured out to Everybody’s Playground – designed for children of all abilities – and their smiles say it all!
