Outstanding Programs Earn The Malvern School of Montgomeryville NAEYC Accreditation
Leading child care provider and preschool in North Wales receives high marks from the world’s largest organization working on behalf of young children
For 30 years, accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) has been recognized as a mark of high-quality early childhood education. The Malvern School is extremely proud to announce that its child care and preschool in Montgomeryville has earned NAEYC Accreditation for the second time, with outstanding scores across all 10 of NAEYC’s program standards. Less than 10 percent of all child care centers, preschools and kindergartens nationally achieve this recognition.

To earn NAEYC Accreditation, The Malvern School of Montgomeryville went through an extensive self-study process, followed by an on-site visit by NAEYC Assessors who evaluated hundreds of criteria pertaining to NAEYC’s research-based program standards. These standards include relationships; curriculum; teaching; assessment of child progress; health; staff competencies, preparation and support; families; community relationships; physical environment; and leadership and management. The school received high marks across every standard, including perfect scores in multiple areas.
According to NAEYC, “Research shows a direct correlation between high-quality early learning and children’s positive long-term outcomes in life, including increased educational attainment, healthier lifestyles, and more successful careers. NAEYC Accreditation helps teachers and other staff at early learning programs develop a shared understanding and commitment to quality.”
NAEYC-Accredited programs are always prepared for unannounced quality-assurance visits during their accreditation term, which lasts for five years.
