The Malvern School of West Norriton

The Malvern School’s preschool in West Norriton is conveniently located on Trooper Road between Ridge and Germantown Pike, and we have been a part of the community since 2003. Our school is proud of receiving both a Families First award for customer service and a Best Place to Work Award for staff tenure and satisfaction. We look forward to helping your child prepare for the future, and we encourage you to schedule a tour of our West Norriton preschool!

What Parents are saying:

It is wonderful to know that [my daughters] spend their days with teachers that they love while getting an exceptional early childhood education. They can’t wait to go to school in the mornings and come home happy!

Meet Our Directors

Chelsey Oakley, Executive Director

Chelsey Oakley is the Executive Director at The Malvern School of West Norriton. Chelsey holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Long Island University and a range of leadership experience in early childhood education.

Chelsey’s proudest moment of her professional career was becoming an Assistant Director and taking part in opening a brand-new childhood education center which she was able to watch flourish. The creativity teachers have when customizing their curriculum is by far Chelsey’s favorite aspect of The Malvern School’s program and is what she believes sets us apart.

Outside of school, Chelsey enjoys cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles, and spending time with her family. Fun fact! Chelsey was a Division 1 volleyball player in college- go Chelsey! Chelsey’s favorite children’s book is “Giraffes Can’t Dance” by Giles Andreae.

Abigail Jett, Director of Education

Abigail Jett is the Director of Education at The Malvern School of West Norriton. Abigail holds a degree in Child Development and Family Relations with a minor in Educational Psychology. She has more than five years of experience in early childhood education as a summer camp manager.
Some of Abigail’s proudest moments are when previous campers returned as counselors. She finds The Malvern School’s approach to develop the whole child sets the program apart from others in the area. Not only will the program focus on development of the child, but also the children are truly loved by the teachers in the program.
During her free time, she enjoys crafting and being creative. Fun fact about Abigail: She is a basketball coach! Abigail’s favorite children’s book is “If you Give a Pig a Pancake” by Laura Numeroff.
