The Malvern School preschool in Voorhees has been educating children in the South Jersey region since 2001. We are conveniently located on Centennial Blvd in Voorhees between Kresson Road and Cooper Road. Our preschool’s NAEYC accreditation guarantees that your child will receive the highest level of care and early childhood education. With programs for children ages 6 weeks through 8 years old, The Malvern School offers much more than traditional Voorhees daycare and childcare programs. Our credentialed staff provides a loving, nurturing environment in which your child will learn and grow during their early years. Meet Our Directors

Desiree Keller, Executive Director

Desiree Keller is the Executive Director at The Malvern School of Voorhees. Desiree started her teaching career in 2003 as an Assistant Teacher and Lead Teacher at The Malvern School. She left to pursue her Masters in Creative Arts in Therapy at Drexel University and after graduation, Desiree spent more than eight years in the mental health field serving young children with five of those years as a director. Desiree holds a Bachelor’s degree from Rowan University and her Master’s from Drexel.

Desiree is extremely proud to rejoin The Malvern School family and is excited to come full circle in her career and serve as Executive Director. She is thrilled to bring the experiences that she gained while working with a diverse group of professionals, children and families to Voorhees. She is proud of the teachers at The Malvern School and believes they are what makes the program special. She is confident that our teachers are the most qualified, dedicated and creative professionals in the field and that they genuinely care for every child and family. Their dedication is evident in the successful program at the school.

In her free time, Desiree enjoys spending time with her family, walking the dog, visiting friends and family and taking day trips. As a young child, she dreamt of being a ballerina but found her calling in early childhood education. Her favorite children’s book is “Where the Wild Things Are” by Maurice Sendak.

Meghan Bartell, Director of Education

Meghan Bartell is the Director of Education at The Malvern School of Voorhees. She graduated from Cabrini College in 2006 with a degree in Elementary Education and is a NJ certified teacher. She began as a Preschool/Pre-K Head Teacher at The Malvern School of Erial in 2006, and shortly after became Curriculum Coordinator and joined the Director in Training program. In 2010 The Malvern School of Medford was opened, at which time Meghan was promoted to Director of Education at this location and worked there for 4 years. In September 2014, Meghan became the Director of Education at The Malvern School of Voorhees. Meghan shares the passion for Early Childhood Education that is exemplified by The Malvern School in its every day practices. She loves spending time in the classroom and developing the program at Voorhees with a focus on the best practices within the field.
