The Malvern School® of West Norriton Receives National Recognition for High-Quality Programming
Montgomery County preschool for children 6 weeks to 8 years earns NAEYC Accreditation
West Norriton, PA– The Malvern School of West Norriton has been recognized with an honor received by less than 10 percent of early childhood education programs in the country. The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) has added another Malvern School to its coveted list of accredited early childhood education centers for its distinguished program. NAEYC Accreditation is earned after an in-depth evaluation of the school, staff and programming to ensure the best learning experiences for young children and the highest-quality professional preparation of educators.

“Research shows a direct correlation between high-quality early learning and children’s positive long-term outcomes in life, including increased educational attainment, healthier lifestyles, and more successful careers,” the organization states. “NAEYC Accreditation helps teachers and other staff at early learning programs develop a shared understanding and commitment to quality, enabling centers to provide a solid foundation for all children’s success in life.”
The Malvern School of West Norriton exceeded program standards evaluated by NAEYC, receiving an average of over 100% in nearly every category, including curriculum, teaching, health, families and community relationships, physical environment and more. The school also received an impressive 96% average in its class scores related to classroom observations.
