Autumn is the busiest season at The Malvern School of Malvern! Students have been enjoying the falling leaves in our big backyard here in Malvern, and exploring the autumn changes around them. Since October is Fire Prevention Month, we had a visit from our local fire company. Students also immersed themselves in ooey gooey fun as they participated in our first Science Fun Day of the school year! During Science Fun Day, they explored concepts like chemical reactions, environmental science, and biology. Even our Infants and Toddlers joined in the fun. Later in October, we are looking forward to our annual Harvest Festival! At this annual school-wide event, families will enjoy scarecrow stuffing, fall crafts, a moon bounce, and lunch. We hope you will join us! In November, we will explore our local community as we focus on our theme All Around Town. Malvern will host a variety of community members on our annual Community Helper Day, including a construction worker, a dog trainer, and more! Be sure to look for photos of this fun and hands-on event on The Malvern Schools Facebook page. Malvern students will also study the highly detailed drawings of sketch artist Stephen Wiltshire, and childrens authors Lucy Cousins and Richard Scarry. We look forward to our Kindergarteners traveling back to Solana WIllistown to celebrate the Thanksgiving Holiday with some of their residents. We will then prepare for the Thanksgiving holiday back at Malvern with a visit from The Pilgrim Project and our annual Thanksgiving Feast family celebration. Lots of fun and learning left this Fall at The Malvern School!
