Leading child care and early learning provider in Sewell, New Jersey is again recognized among the top programs in the U.S.

The Malvern School of Washington Township, which was first accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) in 2013, has again earned national NAEYC Accreditation in recognition of its staff, educational programming, facility and more. This honor puts the school among the top programs in the U.S. Less than 10 percent of all child care centers, preschools and kindergartens nationally achieve this recognition. “NAEYC Accreditation is synonymous with high-quality early childhood education. That’s exactly what we’re committed to providing our young friends, our families and our community every single day,” says Sam Smith, Director of Education at The Malvern School of Washington Township. “Our teachers deserve to be celebrated for continually upholding these exceptionally high standards and for always putting the children first. Their passion for early childhood education truly shines!” According to NAEYC, “Research shows a direct correlation between high-quality early learning and children's positive long-term outcomes in life, including increased educational attainment, healthier lifestyles and more successful careers. NAEYC Accreditation helps teachers and other staff at early learning programs develop a shared understanding and commitment to quality.” To earn NAEYC Accreditation, The Malvern School of Washington Township went through an extensive self-study process, followed by an on-site visit by NAEYC Assessors who evaluated hundreds of criteria pertaining to NAEYC’s research-based program standards. These standards include relationships; curriculum; teaching; assessment of child progress; health; staff competencies, preparation and support; families; community relationships; physical environment; and leadership and management. NAEYC-Accredited programs are always prepared for unannounced quality-assurance visits during their accreditation term, which lasts for five years. The Malvern School of Washington Township is currently looking for qualified teachers to join its team. For more information, visit malvernschool.com/careers.
