So many early childhood educators have a gift for teaching and connecting with young children in ways that are truly special. And while they have always played a critical role in the community (and for the economy), the pandemic has really shined a spotlight on just how important these heroes are to the world.
That said, we are immensely proud that Miss Jasmin Reahm, Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher at
The Malvern School of Richboro, is being honored as the
Front Cover Hero for Beckers 2021 Early Childhood Catalog as they recognize frontline teachers who have risen to the challenges that COVID-19 presented to both schools and children. As Beckers describes, during these difficult times, Miss Jasmin who has been at The Malvern School of Richboro for 14 years has been a guiding light of positivity to her students and peers. She has faced an exceptional challenge as most of the children in her care have just reached the minimum age required to wear face coverings in school. Her talent and experience in working with toddlers have given her the ability to communicate effectively from behind her mask using her tone of voice, thoughtful interactions and warm embraces. Jasmin is absolutely adored by the children of our school and is fondly known as the child magnet. In a school filled with experienced teachers, Jasmin stands out as a friend, a leader and a calming soul, adds Kate Perez, Executive Director at The Malvern School of Richboro. We are extremely grateful for Miss Jasmin and the hundreds of teacher heroes in our schools that she represents. They have been a lifeline, a constant for so many families and were so happy to see their courage and commitment being recognized. Read more about Miss Jasmins honor
