The Malvern School of Lionville has again been recognized among the highest quality early childhood education programs in the country, earning its accreditation from the
National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) – the world’s largest organization working on behalf of young children. An honor held by the school since 2010, NAEYC accreditation has become widely recognized as a sign of top-quality early childhood education and is earned by less than 10 percent of programs in the country. “We pride ourselves on providing the best practices for an early childhood education experience,” states Shannon Battista, Director of Education at The Malvern School of Lionville. “Achieving this honor for a third time reinforces our commitment to excellence for the children and families of the Lionville area.” Programs that are accredited by NAEYC are comprehensively measured in 10 areas including: relationships with children, curriculum, teaching approaches, child assessment, nutrition and health, staff qualifications, relationship with children’s families, relationship with the community, physical environment, and program leadership and management. The Malvern School of Lionville earned top marks in all categories, with scores above 100% in multiple categories. According to the association, “Research shows a direct correlation between high-quality early learning and children’s positive long-term outcomes in life, including increased educational attainment, healthier lifestyles, and more successful careers.” Enrollment is currently open at The Malvern School of Lionville, located on Ruark Road off of Eagleview Boulevard in Exton.
