What sets The Malvern School apart?
Everything! The Malvern School is truly committed to ensuring the safety, well-being and education of every child in our program. The Malvern School also recognizes how important our teachers are to the success of every child and our program.
What's your proudest Malvern Moment?
After 20 years, there are so many proud moments! A few that stand out include my daughter and I being the faces of the first Malvern brochure, all of my children attending the Glen Mills location over the years, receiving the Executive Director of the Year Award three times and being promoted to a position where I can share my knowledge and help directors achieve success in their roles. Just being a part of such an amazing company, and amazing family, for the last 20 years, and seeing it grow and prosper as much as it has makes me proud!
What's your best advice to parents of young children?
There is no instruction manual for being a parent, unfortunately. As a mom of three former Malvern School alumni, my advice is to love your children unconditionally - and provide consistency, care and communication. Make sure your children know that home is their safe space, and no matter what they are feeling or experiencing, they can always come to you for love, support and a listening ear if they need help.
What do you enjoy in your free time?
Spending time with my loved ones, traveling, reading.
What's your favorite children's book?
Love You Forever
