Mrs. Bush�s Story Times throughout the year. Here are just a few of our favorite books that belong in your young child�s library!�
- Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak - This award-winning classic children�s book is loved by both children and adults alike. The illustrations carry the reader through the wonderful imaginary world of Max and the �Wild Things�.
- The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein � This picture book is a tender story of a relationship between a boy and a tree. The beautifully written and illustrated story explores the relationship between giving and taking.
- The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg - Our Author of the Month for December is Chris Van Allsburg. Along with Chris� calm and relaxing storyline, the illustrations in this book have been critically acclaimed. Now a classic Christmas story, The Polar Express tells the story of a young boy�s mysterious journey to the North Pole.
