Our teachers, young children and their families just celebrated The Week of the Young Child alongside many schools across the globe. We enjoyed an action packed week filled with well attended family events and educational activities!
Some highlights from the week included events at The Malvern Schools of; Voorhees, Downingtown, and Jackson. Extended families along with parents joined in the fun at the Voorhees Spring Dance. The Malvern School at Voorhees experienced the beauty of consistent friendships being developed at a young age. Taco Tuesday was a big hit in Downingtown. Their imagination was displayed throughout the day from crafting and enjoying colorful healthy tacos to taco yoga. While many families used their creative juices to decorate cookies together in Jackson, every crumb of those tasty treats was relished. The connections children, teachers and families made using sight, sound, scent, touch, and taste surely made a lasting impression.
The Week of the Young Child is an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, the world's largest early education association. Thanks to all who took part in the festivities! The memories created by bringing children, teachers, and families together within each school will last a lifetime.
